There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Liga MB. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

Metapan (10-1) recorded its first loss on the court of third ranked San Salvador on Monday night. Visitors were defeated by San Salvador 88-80. It ended at the same time the ten-game winning streak of Metapan. San Salvador dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Metapan's 36. They outrebounded Metapan 45-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was who had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists. chipped in 25 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Noah Harris (185-2002, college: SNHU) produced 25 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the guests. San Salvador have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 9-2 record behind leader Metapan. Metapan at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost. San Salvador are looking forward to face Ahuachapan (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Metapan will play against the league's second-placed A.Lobos (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
Bottom-ranked Brujos (0-11) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 92-61 loss to fifth ranked Salvadorenos (6-5) in San Salvador. orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 5 rebounds. Diego Minero contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Salvadorenos' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Albanian forward Leo Svete (195, college: IUPUI) replied with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds for Brujos. Salvadorenos have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cojute. Brujos at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Salvadorenos will play against Independiente (#8) in the next round. Brujos will have a break next round.

The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cojute moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Salvadorenos. Santiagueno lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with nine games lost. Cojute will meet at home Santa Tecla (#7) in the next round. Santiagueno will have a break next round.

In the last game of round 14 Santa Ana defeated Santa Tecla in a road game 85-73.

Five Cojute players scored in double figures. John Hernandez responded with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 28 rebounds and 4 assists (on 15-of-18 shooting from the field) and Colombian forward Leyder Moreno (195-2000) scored 31 points and 5 assists. There was a minor upset when 6th ranked Santa Tecla (5-6) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Santa Ana (5-6) 85-73 on Monday. scored 46 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Puerto Rican forward Xavier Zambrana (193-1991) chipped in 16 points, 22 rebounds and 12 assists during the contest. Santa Ana's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American Nick Moore (198-1991, college: Alliance) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds and Venezuelan guard Maximillion Bell (198-1999, college: Lane) scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Santa Ana moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Santa Tecla. Santa Tecla lost third consecutive game. Santa Ana will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Santa Tecla will play against Cojute (#4) in Cojutepeque and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
